More competitivity, less agriculture

The EU finally decided to allocate more funds for improving its competitivity than for its agricultural policy. The 2008 budget proposal also secures an extra 2.7 billion euro for the Galileo and the European Institute of Technology projects.

The EU appears to have found a solution to its energy concerns. It has therefore decided to create an European Energy Community that would ensure competitiveness,enegy security as well as increased care for the environment.
